***** out of 5.
What a great movie. It’s always so nice to go to the theater and realize that there are still movies that can give you good feelings, a great Jim Carrey and an incredible Kate Winslet, woah… i thought she was drown in Titanic, well, I was wrong!

But what i would like to say is not about her or him, it’s about how the titles of the movies are translated into italian

Se mi lasci ti cancello = Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

Se mi lasci ti cancello can be translated like “if you leave me, i will erase you”
Se mi lasci ti cancello is very similar to another one Se Scappi Ti Sposo , which is Runaway Bride… pretty different huh?

In the theater, i heard people wondering what the hell of movie was that, and saying the worst things of a great movie.
I am becoming not tolerant , but, why use a so terrible title like if you leave me i erase you? while the original one was so deep?

I totally agree about the title. I remembered about that when I came across the boring translation the Americans get for another brilliant film: Entre les murs (The Class).
