just a little about me

If you clicked here you probably want to know more about me, right. i got it. I was born in 1971, i am married to a lovely woman who patiently bare my passion for photography and this website is more or less totally about my obsession.

about my gear

I started shooting with the olympus C3020Z in december 2001, I learnt a lot, and the camera was really nice, I immediately appreciate the colors and the manual settings, but then after an undefined numbers of shots, the olympus decided to work when the mood was good, so i had to look around for something new, and i wanted the click, the magic ‘click’.The choice was among Canon 300 and Nikon D70, as I had no lens to use with, I really had to make the big choice, and then after some sleepless night in december 2004, the ultimate response : the dark force! Nikon! ( yes yes after a while i heard that canon started to produce black cameras too). So I bought a Nikon D70 with the Nikkor 18-70, and well I ve never been disappointed. I think that my photos look better because of the Nikon! In june 2004 i bought my mobile a siemens CX65, vga resolution, good for making small exercises. In june 2005, my father gave me his tamron 80-210 from his fujica FR2, so i bought my ring to adapt to the nikon. that was my first non automatic experience. not bad, still working on that. In feb 2006, before my trip to thailand i bought the Canon IXUS 55, i needed something in my pocket, the quality is good, not bad and it fits perfectly to your pockets. that’s how i asked to be called. Yes i think i don t like to be called photographer cause I am rather far from that, I feel more like a man with a camera, it gives me more freedom of what i might like to do, and allow me to say that my photos are only for “personal use”.
